THE PROJECT
The CyDat Data Center
CyDat Industries, LLC ("CyDat") is developing a state of the art data center that meets Tier 3 performance standards to ensure that your company's data storage needs will be met. The CyDat data center will provide necessary infrastructure, uninterruptable power, optimal security and maintain a low cost structure providing maximum value.
The data center is designed to meet TIA-942 Data Center Standards and Uptime Institute requirements for a Tier 3 data center. Among other requirements, these standards require that a Tier 3 data center have concurrently maintainable site infrastructure with expected availability of 99.982%. That translates to a downtime of fewer than 95 minutes per year. The leading edge design is intended to allow for a very low Power Usage Efficiency ("PUE") rate, lowest possible base build cost and scalability to meet future demand as needed. The design is intended to produce a PUE in the 1.3 range, allowing for low cost of electricity.
Meeting Your Future Data Storage Needs
New technologies are expanding daily, from healthcare, to augmented and virtual reality, to the newest social media, to machine learning and automation. The use of technology and need for data storage is rapidly growing in virtually every industry. Your organization needs data storage that you can rely on to have the least downtime and the most room for growth while offering the most attractive pricing structure. CyDat is designed around a modular concept rather than a large box concept. The modular design concept allows for a more flexible and scalable project over time. This helps meet cost goals and customer server ramp needs. The modular design allows for more flexibility in build-out options, scheduling, customer need requirements, security needs and fire and life safety demands.
The CyDat modular design concept will be able to accommodate all scenarios of cloud usage for customers. One colocation can be 100% dedicated to one organization while another colocation is for another entity or a single colocation module suite can be divided into multiple companies. The IT design will allow for discreet and secure connections by all organizations to the World Wide Web. Furthermore, the Tier 3 design gives a high degree of reliability. Importantly, the CyDat design leaves room for your organization to grow.
